As an interactive tool, we recommend generating a contrasting button titled "Get Housing Advice" and place it in a prominent location(s) on your website. This will stand out from standard links which lead to information pages. See this article for how to add AdviceAid to your website.
Talk to your web team about creating a feature on the main homepage (even if temporary) to generate interest.
Put a link (or button) in a prominent location on the publicly accessible council computers.
Ask the web team to create a URL shortcut, such as: epicforest.gov.uk/housing-advice which you can...
- Include as a link at the bottom of every team member's email signature.
- Add to any letters/communication you send out.
- Tell your customers when they first contact you (e.g. at triage).
- Promote on the council's social media accounts.
We would really encourage you to tell your partners about the service and provide information on how to access.
If you have purchased the Compose module, all advice sheets provided to customers also include a link to corresponding advice on the SelfServ tool. This enables your customers to further explore advice for themselves.
