Everyone loves change until it happens.

The Compose module is easy to use and intuitive for most users. However, most of us can feel challenged when a change is introduced to the way we work.

In our experience, when advisors are properly introduced to Compose, they quickly discover that AdviceAid has the power to reduce their work burden and is not just another thing to do!

We recommend a four-step process for teams that are adopting AdviceAid for the first time:

  1. Select a member of the team who will be the AdviceAid champion. They should be available for any team member to go to for help. If they have a 'Team Admin' account they can also sort any signing in issues.
  2. Send an email to the whole team, setting out the rationale for using AdviceAid, a short description of the tool and detailing the next steps. It should name the AdviceAid champion. We have provided a template email below.
  3. Deliver a 20 min demonstration at a team meeting. Make a recording for anyone who is unable to attend. We are very happy to provide a free online demonstration for new customers. The demo should show how to create and export an advice sheet as well as where to click for help and support. We find it is also beneficial to quickly show SelfServ working on your website.
  4. Set up the user accounts, triggering activation emails.

Team on-boarding email template:

We are excited to be introducing a new digital tool to support the team. AdviceAid is designed to reduce the burden on advisors to have to research, write and share Section 179 advice. In less than 30-seconds, you will be able to create professional advice sheets from scratch and share them directly with customers. AdviceAid will enable us to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency with our advice offer. You can read more about AdviceAid here: adviceaid.uk

Additionally, we are placing a version of the tool on our website, enabling customers to self-service advice directly from their device, 24/7.

We think you are really going to appreciate the power and simplicity of AdviceAid.

Next steps:

1. We will be showing you a demo of AdviceAid at our team meeting on XX/XX

2. Following the demo, you will receive an 'Activation Email' - follow the instructions to sign in to your account. This email will expire, so don't leave it too long.

There is a comprehensive knowledge base where you can read more about and how to use AdviceAid - try the 'Getting Started' section: support.adviceaid.uk

XXXXX XXXXXXXX is our AdviceAid champion. If you have any questions or need support logging in, do reach out to them.
